These terms are an agreement between you and Rycara Labs LLC ("Rycara Labs," "we," "us") governing your use of the Devotedly app. By using Devotedly, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Eligibility

Devotedly is intended for adults 18 years of age or older. By using the app, you confirm that you are at least 18.

Your license to use Devotedly

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Devotedly for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these terms and your app store's terms.

The AI companion — important disclaimer

Your companion is powered by artificial intelligence. It is not a real person, and its messages are generated by software and may be inaccurate or inappropriate. Devotedly is for companionship and entertainment. It is not a substitute for professional advice of any kind — medical, mental-health, legal, or financial — and you should not rely on it as such. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, please contact a qualified professional or, in the U.S., call or text 988 (the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline).

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Devotedly to:

• break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
• create, request, or share sexual content involving minors, or anything depicting the sexual exploitation of minors — this is strictly prohibited and will be reported where required by law;
• harass, threaten, or harm others, or promote violence or self-harm;
• upload, or generate images or video from, a photo of anyone other than yourself — only upload photos of yourself, never a photo of another real person without their consent, and never a photo of a minor;
• attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or abuse the app or its systems;
• resell, redistribute, or use the app for commercial purposes without our permission.

Your content

You retain ownership of the content you create in the app. You grant us the limited license needed to operate the service — for example, to store your content and send it to the AI providers that generate responses. You are responsible for the content you submit.

Subscriptions, credits, and payments

Devotedly offers optional paid subscriptions and in-app credit purchases. Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled, and you can manage or cancel them in your app store account settings. Except where required by law or app store policy, purchases and credits are non-refundable. Prices and features may change; we'll show current pricing in the app before you buy.

Intellectual property

The Devotedly app, its design, and its trademarks belong to Rycara Labs. These terms don't grant you any rights to our branding or software beyond the license described above.

Disclaimers

Devotedly is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the app will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rycara Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Devotedly. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using Devotedly and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or use the app in a way that could harm others or us.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above, and continued use of the app means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
